Ronica Cleary

Founder & CEO

Ronica Cleary launched Cleary Strategies to provide public relations, media placements, & crisis management to leaders and corporations. Not only does she have over a decade of vast communications experience, simply put - she gets it. Ronica will help you deliver your message, preserve your image, and build the skills needed to thrive in today's media climate.

Cleary Strategies' clients can be seen in broadcast, heard on podcasts & radio, and found in print. Past placements include ABC World News Tonight, Fox News, CNBC, Cheddar, Bloomberg, Forbes, Fox Business, Entrepreneur, GLAMOUR, countless local programs, and many, many more.

 

Ronica recently received the prestigious “Rising Star” Top Women Award presented by PR News, an industry leader in education and recognition for over 75 years. She is currently serving on the board of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association as Treasurer. Ronica was awarded the PPRA  Fast-Track Award, which honors a member of PPRA who has made great contributions to the organization, profession, the community and who exemplifies PPRA's vision for the future.

Prior to launching Cleary Strategies, Ronica had a successful career in television journalism where she reported on programming that aired in some of the most competitive media markets in America: New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. Most recently she worked as a White House Correspondent for Fox 5 in Washington, DC, and hosted a Sunday morning political talk show, "Fox 5 On The Hill." During her time as a journalist, she also reported on presidential campaigns, Capitol Hill, multiple Governors, and elections at every level of government. Beyond politics, she has reported on everything from challenging topics like the heroin crisis and crime to the light and fun like making cocktails and puppy spas!

Ronica graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. She received the Dean's Fellowship for Academic Achievement at Drexel University where she earned her Master of Science in Public Communication.

Lauren Blanchard

Media & Content Strategist

Lauren Blanchard joins the team with more than 15 years of network news experience in the field and at the anchor desk. As a former Fox News Correspondent based in Washington, D.C., Lauren has experience reporting worldwide on the biggest political, sports, weather, and history-making events. When news wasn't breaking, Lauren also had the chance to report on companies doing good, remarkable people and the hottest trends.

 

In 2023, she traded in her breaking news suitcase for a diaper bag and much needed time with her family. Lauren now lives in the Charlotte, N.C. suburbs chasing around her young son, checking out new breweries with her husband, and figuring out her next craft project. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) with a concentration in Communications and Political Science. 

 

Lauren is excited to bring her years of network reporting, news savvy and writing to help clients land the best media opportunities and feel their strongest on TV.

John Dawson

Media & Content Strategist

John is a former Bloomberg TV Prime Time Anchor and feature writer who, after 20 years in journalism, transitioned to communications to leverage his frontline experience. Today, he advises on reputation & crisis management, which includes developing media strategies and leading media training programs for C-suite, corporates, and HNWIs. John’s frontline experience interviewing C-Suite gives him a unique expertise and insight to prepare clients for high-level media interviews, broadcast, and print.

 

In broadcast, John is renowned for his record of landing world exclusives in interviews with global leaders in industry and politics, from Presidents and Fortune 500 CEOs to Finance Chiefs and Nobel Laureates. Past interviewees include Presidents Bill Clinton and Benigno Aquino, Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Silvio Berlusconi; Alibaba’s Jack Ma, GE’s Jack Welch, PepsiCo’s Indra Nooyi, Goldman’s Lloyd Blankfein, ECB President Christine Lagarde, and Nobel Laureate Professor Joseph Stiglitz. As a writer, John’s work has been published across Bloomberg, The Financial Times, Business Week, and New York Times.

Dina Waxman

Content & Account Director

Dina Waxman has over 15 years of experience leading public and community relations initiatives in agency, non-profit and retail settings. Most recently, she worked for Hadassah Northeast, managing marketing, communications and media relations efforts.  

 

Before taking on the communications role at Hadassah, Dina managed internal communications and community relations for 169 SUPERVALU/Shaw's Supermarket locations throughout New England, worked in public relations for Boston-based non-profit, Project Bread – The Walk for Hunger, the oldest continual pledge walk in the country, and as an Account Manager for Regan Communications, a Boston-based public relations agency. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. 

 

Dina lives in North Easton, Mass. and in her free time enjoys yoga and hiking, reading and anything outdoors. She also loves attending festivals and community events with her two active boys (7 & 9 years old). Dina is looking forward to creating value by enhancing and promoting the invaluable work of our clients.

Aubrey Aquino

Broadcast Media Specialist 

Aubrey Aquino is a passionate communicator with more than two decades of experience working in broadcast media. She’s built a successful career in television and radio, and is now using her skillset, background, and experience to lead, create, and guide public relations strategies for brands and individuals.

As a television host and reporter Aubrey has conducted countless interviews with A-List celebrities, elected officials, CEO’s, as well as community leaders, locally and around the world. She has appeared on CNN, ESPN, E! News, Fox Business, and the NFL Network, and she’s lived and worked in media markets including the SF Bay Area, Miami, and Phoenix. She has produced numerous “branded content” segments, and has managed integrated and sponsored content opportunities in her work. Aubrey enjoys “connecting the dots,” and is able to provide support and new opportunities on projects using her media contacts and know-how.

Aubrey’s work also includes professional sports, where she spent several years in the NFL and NBA as a pro team dancer and cheerleader. She is also a published author and balances work life duties as the proud mom to two sporty young boys, somehow always becoming the (unofficial) team mom! Aubrey is a Bay Area native and graduate of San Jose State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Humanities minor.

Joshua Danzig

Broadcast Media Specialist 

A storyteller at heart, Joshua Danzig has nearly 20 years of experience in national, local, and digital media. Having worked in top markets, Joshua has built a solid reputation for creating engaging content to inform and connect with audiences.

 

His career began at the Fox affiliate service in New York City before making the move to WTTG Fox 5 in Washington, D.C., as a writer and producer. He then ventured into digital media with Sinclair Broadcast Group, serving as a senior producer at The National Desk. He most recently served as an executive producer at WITI FOX 6 in Milwaukee, managing a large production staff to deliver compelling local newscasts.

 

Originally from the East Coast, Joshua relocated to the Midwest just a few years ago, where he now resides with his wife Abby, daughter Lucy, and dog Shea (named after his beloved New York Mets).  He enjoys spending quality time with his family, watching sports, reading, and exercising.

Broadcast Media Specialist 

Eve Edwards is a consumer and business-to-business media relations specialist with over 20 years of experience working with fabulous boutique and mid-sized public relations agencies, and companies.

Eve's strength is in booking guests for national and regional broadcast programming. She has arranged interviews for clients to be featured on: The Today Show, The Early Show, Good Morning America, FOX and Friends, CNBC's Squawk Box, Closing Bell and Power Lunch, Bloomberg TV and Radio, Sirius XM Radio, CNN, FOX Business Network, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, WCBS-TV's Weekend Morning News, WNBC-TV's Weekend Today in New York, New York Live, Good Day New York, PIX11 Morning News, and a variety of television shows in major markets nationwide.

Colleen Lee

Broadcast Media Specialist 

Colleen Lee has more than 25 years of experience in the TV/PR/Broadcast Industry. Starting out her career in a TV newsroom, she managed reporters and photographers every day on the assignment desk. As a multi-skilled and competitive news professional, she had a passion for breaking news as well as sharing community features by sending her crews out to get the real story and deliver it to the public in their own words.

She then turned to PR where she sold and coordinated Media Tours for consumer brands. Once Colleen got the right consumer partners together, she would then pitch to the Top TV Markets and build relationships with TV producers in markets like NYC, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Atlanta, Denver, Tampa etc. She did that very successfully by landing segments on The Today Show, CNN, and Fox & Friends, to name a few. Today, Colleen enjoys the opportunity to land television placements on behalf of a wide range of compelling and interesting clients, along with their inspiring stories.

Caryn Eisenbraun

Research Specialist

Caryn is responsible for research, as well as the creation of media lists and targets for our client roster. Her keen focus and understanding of reporter interests, beats, and expertise, come together to help the team better target pitches and outreach. Beyond this, she is passionate about all things project management and client development. 

 

She loves coffee and Whole Foods, and is a self-described "fitness fanatic." She's married to her college sweetheart; they have two daughters and one red-nosed pit-bull. In her free time she loves boating, camping, traveling, and spending time with family. 

Caryn Eisenbraun

Michael Coleman

Video Editing, Production, & Content Creation

Michael Coleman loves telling stories. With over 15 years of experience in both broadcast and digital media, his path has taken him from syncing VHS tapes in high school to 4k streamable content for cable news networks. He's edited talk shows, podcasts, documentaries, half-hour news specials, film shorts, and more; he’s worked for corporate clients, cut commercials, written & directed music videos, developed pilots, expanded franchise brand content, and produced & edited podcasts. 

Before branching out into a freelance career, Michael worked the trenches of local news, starting in South Carolina and migrating north. His works include an Emmy nominated television special as well as music video work featured in film festivals. He’s directed over 7,000 hours of live news as well as three years of co-producing, shooting, and editing a community-honored weekly arts segment. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina. 


Michael lives in Eastern Pennsylvania and tries to spend as much time as he can outside exploring the trails and waterways of the area. He also enjoys attending 35mm film screenings and (occasionally) plays guitar. 

 

A lifetime of sculpting new ideas out of raw content has brought him to this point, ready to find untold stories to tell and compelling ways to deliver them.

Bethany Watson-Ostrowski

Ghostwriting

Bethany Watson-Ostrowski is a creative muse with a passion for storytelling. She has more than two decades of experience providing prolific inspiration on all things written for celebrities, entrepreneurs, business and community leaders, and organizations.

 

A former television host and public relations director, Bethany uses her interviewing chops to craft uniquely compelling bios, articles, white papers, annual reports, and blog posts that make her clients -and their clients- glow. Her writing services include ghostwriting books for thought leaders and influencers, script development for webinars and commercials, and client and employee communication for executives.

 

A Philadelphia native, Bethany attended its public schools where her classmates voted her "Most Likely to Become the Next Emily Dickinson." She attended the esteemed Central High of Philadelphia, and later graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University. To help with her tuition, she entered the Miss Philadelphia Scholarship Competition and made pageant history by winning with an original comedy routine.

 

Bethany interviewed local leaders and celebs on Comcast Newsmakers, hosted Gimme the Mike, Philadelphia, and frequently appeared on NBC-10, KYW-3, and Fox 29. During the pandemic, she started writing regularly for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Today, she is the founder of Wordsmith Writing Company.

Michelle is currently a senior at Drexel University majoring in Journalism. She is passionate about writing and works to infuse art, flair, and creativity in her work. She loves writing for Drexel’s Independent Student Newspaper, The Triangle, and creating content on social media. In her free time she loves reading, watching movies, blogging, and spending time with friends.
