Founder & CEO
Ronica Cleary launched Cleary Strategies to provide public relations, media placements, & crisis management to leaders and corporations. Not only does she have over a decade of vast communications experience, simply put - she gets it. Ronica will help you deliver your message, preserve your image, and build the skills needed to thrive in today's media climate.
Cleary Strategies' clients can be seen in broadcast, heard on podcasts & radio, and found in print. Past placements include ABC World News Tonight, Fox News, CNBC, Cheddar, Bloomberg, Forbes, Fox Business, Entrepreneur, GLAMOUR, countless local programs, and many, many more.
Ronica is on the Board of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association where she is serving as Treasurer during the 2022/2023 calendar year. She is committed to service in her industry and to giving back along the way.
Prior to launching Cleary Strategies, Ronica had a successful career in television journalism where she reported on programming that aired in some of the most competitive media markets in America: New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. Most recently she worked as a White House Correspondent for Fox 5 in Washington, DC, and hosted a Sunday morning political talk show, "Fox 5 On The Hill." During her time as a journalist, she also reported on presidential campaigns, Capitol Hill, multiple Governors, and elections at every level of government. Beyond politics, she has reported on everything from challenging topics like the heroin crisis and crime to the light and fun like making cocktails and puppy spas!
Ronica graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. She received the Dean's Fellowship for Academic Achievement at Drexel University where she earned her Master of Science in Public Communication.

Dina Waxman
Content & Account Director
Dina Waxman has over 15 years of experience leading public and community relations initiatives in agency, non-profit and retail settings. Most recently, she worked for Hadassah Northeast, managing marketing, communications and media relations efforts.
Before taking on the communications role at Hadassah, Dina managed internal communications and community relations for 169 SUPERVALU/Shaw's Supermarket locations throughout New England, worked in public relations for Boston-based non-profit, Project Bread – The Walk for Hunger, the oldest continual pledge walk in the country, and as an Account Manager for Regan Communications, a Boston-based public relations agency. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Dina lives in North Easton, Mass. and in her free time enjoys yoga and hiking, reading and anything outdoors. She also loves attending festivals and community events with her two active boys (7 & 9 years old). Dina is looking forward to creating value by enhancing and promoting the invaluable work of our clients.

Aubrey Aquino
Broadcast Media Specialist
Aubrey Aquino is a passionate communicator with more than two decades of experience working in broadcast media. She’s built a successful career in television and radio, and is now using her skillset, background, and experience to lead, create, and guide public relations strategies for brands and individuals.
As a television host and reporter Aubrey has conducted countless interviews with A-List celebrities, elected officials, CEO’s, as well as community leaders, locally and around the world. She has appeared on CNN, ESPN, E! News, Fox Business, and the NFL Network, and she’s lived and worked in media markets including the SF Bay Area, Miami, and Phoenix. She has produced numerous “branded content” segments, and has managed integrated and sponsored content opportunities in her work. Aubrey enjoys “connecting the dots,” and is able to provide support and new opportunities on projects using her media contacts and know-how.
Aubrey’s work also includes professional sports, where she spent several years in the NFL and NBA as a pro team dancer and cheerleader. She is also a published author and balances work life duties as the proud mom to two sporty young boys, somehow always becoming the (unofficial) team mom! Aubrey is a Bay Area native and graduate of San Jose State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Humanities minor.

Kristjana Hillberg
Affiliate PR Director & Research Specialist
Kristjana Hillberg has been in the public relations industry for four years. She began with podcast placements and network collaborations and now put a major focus on brands in the affiliate space, making connections in all industries. She is creative and enterprising, essential skills to thrive in the industry.
She has spent twelve years in the client experience industry and is driven to help individuals lead a personal and professional life that is in alignment with their definition of success. She has worked with various clients in industries from entertainment to e-commerce, as well as experts in the areas of pediatric sleep and play therapy. She has provided support with client branding strategies, marketing campaigns, and has been a core team member on a few founding behavioral and physical health teams. Kristjana attended the University of South Dakota, where she studied Business Administration and Management.

Michael Coleman
Video Editing, Production, & Content Creation
Michael Coleman loves telling stories. With over 15 years of experience in both broadcast and digital media, his path has taken him from syncing VHS tapes in high school to 4k streamable content for cable news networks. He's edited talk shows, podcasts, documentaries, half-hour news specials, film shorts, and more; he’s worked for corporate clients, cut commercials, written & directed music videos, developed pilots, expanded franchise brand content, and produced & edited podcasts.
Before branching out into a freelance career, Michael worked the trenches of local news, starting in South Carolina and migrating north. His works include an Emmy nominated television special as well as music video work featured in film festivals. He’s directed over 7,000 hours of live news as well as three years of co-producing, shooting, and editing a community-honored weekly arts segment. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina.
Michael lives in Eastern Pennsylvania and tries to spend as much time as he can outside exploring the trails and waterways of the area. He also enjoys attending 35mm film screenings and (occasionally) plays guitar.
A lifetime of sculpting new ideas out of raw content has brought him to this point, ready to find untold stories to tell and compelling ways to deliver them.

Bethany Watson-Ostrowski

Bethany Watson-Ostrowski is a creative muse with a passion for storytelling. She has more than two decades of experience providing prolific inspiration on all things written for celebrities, entrepreneurs, business and community leaders, and organizations.
A former television host and public relations director, Bethany uses her interviewing chops to craft uniquely compelling bios, articles, white papers, annual reports, and blog posts that make her clients -and their clients- glow. Her writing services include ghostwriting books for thought leaders and influencers, script development for webinars and commercials, and client and employee communication for executives.
A Philadelphia native, Bethany attended its public schools where her classmates voted her "Most Likely to Become the Next Emily Dickinson." She attended the esteemed Central High of Philadelphia, and later graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University. To help with her tuition, she entered the Miss Philadelphia Scholarship Competition and made pageant history by winning with an original comedy routine.
Bethany interviewed local leaders and celebs on Comcast Newsmakers, hosted Gimme the Mike, Philadelphia, and frequently appeared on NBC-10, KYW-3, and Fox 29. During the pandemic, she started writing regularly for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Today, she is the founder of Wordsmith Writing Company.

Wayne Eo
Public Relations Research & Support Co-Op
Wayne is a third-year student at Drexel University majoring in communications. He found himself in the communications field after a brief stint with software engineering during his first year. Since then, he has been exploring the communications field, which led him to a meaningful co-op job at the Kimmel Cultural Campus, comprised of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Academy of Music, and the Miller Theater. Today, Wayne provides invaluable research and administrative support to the Cleary Strategies team.
Wayne was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia. He loves hiking with his friends along various trails throughout Pennsylvania. He has a deep interest in fantasy media, including shows and video games. He works alongside his parents at his family business.
